On the 11th of March 2020 Glade hosted the first ever Redbridge Geography Bee.  Teams of Year 5 pupils from 9 schools, came together to test their Geography knowledge with questions ranging from, 'What is the capital city of Burkina Faso?' to 'Which country is the world's top importer of tea?'  The event was led by Jonny Walker, a Newham SLE for Geography and Oracy.  Zaid, Zakariyyaa, Ava and Sahib worked extremely hard and the Glade team came 1st overall.  We are very proud of our performance and look forward to next year's competition!
