Glade Primary School is seeking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated HLTA to cover PPA across our year groups.

We can offer:

  • Be effective at developing caring and positive relationships with pupils and have the presence to manage all classes in the school.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, assist in the planning cycle and help prepare of resources. Your own PPA time will be given to you.

  • Be dedicated to providing meaningful and effective cover and to removing barriers to learning for pupils.

  • Have high expectations of themselves and pupils with a positive, can do and proactive nature.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Specialist in Computing Curriculum PPA cover

  • You will possess strong numeracy and literacy skills along with good organisational, ICT, team work and communication skills.

  • Be committed to high standards and expectations of all pupils

  • Be open to feedback with the desire to develop professionally

  • Need to be skilled in inspiring and motivating children to reach their full potential

  • Provide inclusive and engaging learning opportunities for all pupils

Salary:                        LBR5 £30,033 FTE (actual salary is term time only)

Interview Date:           Tuesday 1st July 2024

Hours:                         18 hours per week, 8.30am to 3.30pm – 1-hour lunch (term-time only). Days to be agreed
